What does HOOPZI stand for?

The name HOOPZI is inspired by the English word hoop (circle, loop, link). It also evokes the halo luminous of a lit lamp.
HOOPZI is La Déco Lumineuse: the right lines, chosen materials, meticulous finishes.
Pronunciation: "houp zi" (z as in "zero").

HOOPZI innovates, HOOPZI commits

Our team is committed in its choice of materials and production locations. So, since our creation we have launched several innovations for more responsible products. We have developed natural cords in raw twine, cotton and linen from France -our best-sellers!

Since 2020, all our packagings are made of recyclable kraft cardboard.

In 2021, we launched a lampshade collection designed from recycled oyster shells, picked from France's Atlantic coast.

In winter 2025, we enhanced our offering with a selection of 3D-printed luminaires made from recycled and bio-sourced materials.
