- E27 socket contacts: Inside the E27 socket, two metal tabs/contacts provide electrical contact with the base of the bulb. Sometimes they can become slightly crushed and no longer make proper contact with the base.

On our E27 sockets, a small tab (plastic or metal) often locks the assembly in place.

Quick steps: Turn off the power. Locate the two parts of the socket: the upper part (ring) and the lower part (body).

Inside, locate the small tab that fits into the notches on the ring. Using a small flat screwdriver (or your finger if accessible), gently press the tab to release it.

Hold the upper part and unscrew the lower part at the same time: the socket will unlock. When reassembling, do not pull on the cable and check that the connection is secure.

Tip: make small rotations while maintaining pressure on the tab.

If it resists, do not force it and contact customer service.
